blankpages Visual Editor / Designer (voluntary)

blankpages, the online magazine from Blank Media Collective, is looking for a new Visual Editor / Designer to take charge of its overall design. We’re looking for someone who can build on the look of recent issues whilst adding their own spin.
The successful candidate will be able to design Flash and PDF documents, web literate, prepared to work to deadlines, work well in a team, and attend at least one meeting per month (Manchester). They will be joining a small, enthusiastic editorial team who are committed to producing a magazine that features quality work from emerging artists in all fields of creativity.

FILM SCREENING OPPORTUNITIES

Blank Media is looking for films, videos, animations, video art, motion graphics, experimental video work. We are looking for work to include in our regular screenings at various festivals, events and exhibitions.
Work can be submitted on any format. DVD, Mini DV, VHS, VCD, 8mm, Super-8 and the various digital formats.

Blank Media are always looking for new and exciting acts to promote through our monthly audio/visual events, Blank Media Presents…, taking place on the fourth Saturday of every month at Fuel Cafe Bar in Withington, Manchester. Blank Media Presents… is an eclectic night of live music, film, art, creativity and cake(!) promoting emerging bands, musicians and artists locally and nationally.
