Artist's Comments
This painting is promoting Anti-racism in football. I painted it in celebration of the ten year anniversary of "Lets kick Racism Out of Football" Beckham at the time was our most famous player and an Icon to many. The reason that I painted him black was in hope that if he was black that he would be treated with the same respect and celebrated as an icon. I believe and hope he would be.
