Glimpse is a tender collection of photographs taken between 2005-2010. The work is autobiographical, acting as a photographic diary of the significant experiences in my life; Love, Death and New Life. Glimpse invites you into these intimate moments while never giving you the full picture. Each shot is considered but not constructed; everything is caught unawares, even the trees. They are one-off snapshots into unique moments in time and they attempt to remain as true to this moment as possible. Each image searches for the instant when a person or place reveals itself; looking for the underlying meaning and tone of a situation. Glimpse looks at the grandeur of life in the framing of the subtle details.
