Biography / Personal Statement

I'm bit of a magpie, often attracted to my subjects only because they are shiny! Lots of my photos are of eye-catching reflections. Contrasting colours, striking shadows and raking light also lend interest to my street scenes and still life subjects.

I'm an entirely self-taught photographer and flit around all sorts of photography. Mainly I use a digital DSLR, but one that has pinhole and Holga attachments. I also have a growing collection of antique cameras that use medium-format film. I'd like to practice portrait photography more and would be interested in hearing anyone willing to model for me.
