The votes were counted, a decision was made (or was it?) And now comes change. The General Election is long gone and whether we like it or not, changes have and will be made. As face-less people question the role that the arts can have on the up-turn in the country’s economy and whether funding for the arts should be cut, here at Blank Media Collective we know the answer… Start investing in the grass routes and stop bank rolling organisations that can’t look after the money they receive.
Here at BMC HQ we need your vote now! As you may know, Blank Media Collective are planning to open a new contemporary art space in Manchester to support emerging practitioners from throughout the UK and abroad. BLANKSPACE will be a hub of multi-disciplinary activity providing new opportunities for you all! We don’t need millions of pounds, all we need is your support and a bit of money from some kind people.
