Mill24 is a series of 24-hour exhibitions beginning on Saturday 24th April 2010 at Islington Mill, Salford. The Project is a pioneering reflection of the immediate pace of contemporary culture, resulting in an art event that lengthens the excitement of the opening night while condensing an entire exhibition into one day only. All of the works on show are ‘limited edition’.

The project will utilise all 5 floors of the mill’s space in a diverse 24-hour showcase of innovatively presented sound art, site specific installation, time based media and performance from up and coming, local and international artists. Throughout the scheduled ‘day’ these artists will be premiered simultaneously
across the building, directly engaging the audience in the discovery of new artwork.
Fresh food, alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks and other necessities of survival will be available throughout the 24-hours. You are free to attend the exhibition for as little or as long as you like. Maps with specific details of the exhibition’s 24-hour schedule will be provided to all attendees on entry.
