A popular comic book artist in the 1950s, Jack Kamen is most famous for his work for EC Comics. EC special in tales of scary and mad science; that label was run just by William Gaines, later initiator of Mad magazine. Kamen has been particularly known for their “Kamen girls, ” that voluptuous and cold-hearted damsels which often appeared in his drawings. Kamen’s son Dean Kamen could be the creator of the IBOT wheelchair, the Segway scooter and many other inventions. |
