CALL FOR ENTRIES - ODD’S MINI CINE PICTURE SHOW: FUTUREEVERYTHING SPECIAL - BEST OF THE NORTH WEST
Tues 3rd May, Odd Bar, 30-32 Thomas St, Manchester M4 1ER, 8pm-late

The Picture Show is a monthly short film night in the heart of Manchester’s creative Northern Quarter. We invite filmmakers and artist’s at any level to show their mini movie masterpieces on the big screen. All we ask is that the work is a little bit ODD!

For our May event, we are proud to be included as part of the fringe of FutureEverything festival. FutureEverything is a festival of art, music and ideas that takes over Manchester 11-14 May 2011. As part of their fringe, we are hosting an evening dedicated to the celebrating the best of Northern talent!

We are opening our call for entries and are inviting artist’s all over the North West to screen the best of their short films/moving image work. Whether you’re a student, amateur or pro, we want to showcase and celebrate homegrown talent! As usual there are only two rules: work must be under 15 minutes long and all submissions should be a little bit odd!

We accept films of all genres, provided they have something a little bit ‘odd’ about them. Films accepted are maximum 15 minutes duration and Director/Artist or production team must be based in North West region. Deadline for submissions is 22 April 2011.
