Artist's Comments
Bonnie Clemmens is one of four pin up girls created for my degree show at Bath Spa. 'So Let Me Introduce You To The Girls...' was a flirty and fun installation, which also contains a lot of external references. The alias' of the girls are left unexplained to the viewer.
Inspired by 1950s pin up girl slides, it is an exploration of digital photography and text to acheive the feel and texture of a more kitsch image.
