Artist's Comments

The series is primarily an exploration into form and shape; the structures are not chosen for their monumental status, function or any other reason apart from their architectural features and could range from a piece of scaffolding to a skyscraper. Most of the structures are quite simplistic and conventional, however being used in this way the images take on a different form. The process transforms the structures from something that would usually be classed as banal into something quite different; an abstract study of form, shape and pattern and could be hard to define, lacking any indication of purpose or function.
