It was like river.
She'd flown through me
With an invisible cloak
That had made me shiver,
Distill voodoo, icy cold deft magic.
It was for long that I lived in a tomb.
She woke the Lazarus in me.
I rose and soon
I fell
So far in bloom –
Lost for many moments to come
For when I dance,
When I live,
Sing Karaoke,
Drink warm beer
With close friends,
Laugh with strangers,
Sing Cohen songs in shower,
Run down neon lit streets
With beautiful people,
But being so far
In bloom
I am in the gloom
Of the irretrievable.
