Artist's Comments

Rigid geometric frames of a solid and opaque nature are imposed onto initial fields of transparent drips and washes. The geometric frames are worked into the initial fields by pulling through the gestures and reinstating them on the surface plain resulting in a painterly weave with a combination of the physical and the optical where the spillage is blurred and continually shifting.
