I try to make work that corresponds with the wastelandnumberseven, which is an imagined place that gets further away from me every time i try to explain it. It came to me, i think, as a way of making work which had some sort of cohesion to each other, other than this it has no importance.

Other works i consider to be a part of the wasteland (and which i aim for) are the animations of Ladislaw Starewicz, Tom Wait's Alice, Lou Reed's Berlin, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, early blues and jazz, The Magic Flute, Thomas Rowlandson's work, Orson Welles, Philip Guston, and many many more..
