Biography / Personal Statement
Inspired by the actual process of creating, my paintings are the reflective journey of my moods and interests at the given time, expressing the emotional landscape of the human condition.
I like to explore the human form in an abstract style, using materials to create visual as well metaphorical shadows over the shapes.
My approach to my work is conceptual whilst always allowing the process to organically evolve. I am hesitant to let my own perspective cloud the viewer’s interpretation, as I encourage the viewer to “Observe, what do you see”.
