Biography / Personal Statement

I am an Art Student currently in my 2nd year on the Fine Art degree at Bolton University and I am exploring the phenomena of phobia's, specifically Pediophobia which is the fear of dolls and small children. I suffer from a phobia of dolls which I developed at the age of 8 so this project is me very much confronting my own fears and attempting to overcome them. I am at the experimental stage at the moment and I am trying to find that place between comfort and fear through the use of different techniques.
